JADE Power Plants is a professional trading house for good quality, used diesel- and natural gas fueled electric power plant equipment and energy related machinery. Our managers has several decades of experience in sales, project development and project management of such projects. We trade mainly Wartsila, MAN, CAT and Deutz (MWM) power generators and LOOS, Foster Wheeler and Weishaupt steam boilers.

JADE STORY
JADE Trading Oy was established in 2007 by Jari Kartano, building on nearly two decades of international experience in industrial-scale power plant marketing, project development and sales. Before founding the company, Kartano held leading roles with Finnish Wärtsilä, specialising in reciprocating engine power plants, and Ahlström, focusing on steam boiler power plants, across several international markets. This background gave him strong expertise in international power plant sales, project development, global customer relations and the technical requirements of demanding power generation projects.
In 2015, the power equipment business was separated from the beverage division, with power-related activities incorporated under JADE Power Plants OÜ and beverage equipment operations continuing under JADE Trading Oy. Today, the business is being consolidated under JADE Trading Oy in Helsinki, operating through two dedicated divisions: JADE Beverage Trading and JADE Power Trading.
Our mission is to give high-quality power generation equipment a second life — professionally, transparently and reliably. Backed by decades of industry experience, strong technical expertise and an international network of equipment owners, buyers and relocation partners, JADE Power Trading supports customers throughout the entire process, from the first technical review to final delivery.
